Daniel L. Hartl

Daniel L. Hartl is Higgins professor of biology in the department of organismic and evolutionary biology at Harvard University and an associate member at the Broad Institute. His research interests include evolutionary genomics, molecular evolution and population genetics. Research in his laboratory makes use of state of the art molecular and statistical approaches as applied to model organisms (fruit flies, nematodes, yeast, bacteria) as well as the malaria parasite, Plasmodium falciparum.
