Broad Institute Community

Fulfilling the promise of genomic medicine requires engaging a wide community, including the brightest undergraduate and graduate students, talented postdocs, accomplished professional scientists and diverse faculty. The Broad Institute cultivates an environment that unleashes scientific creativity, empowering its scientists to pursue ambitious and critical projects.
The diversity of expertise is reflected in the backgrounds and experience of the scientists in the Broad community. As well, the community includes members from many different countries and academic institutions. Listed below are links to the scientific leadership and administrative functions of the Broad Institute. Full information about all members of the Broad Community will be added soon.
Faculty. The Faculty currently includes six Core Members, whose labs are primarily located within the Broad Institute, and 111 Associate Members, whose primary labs are located at one of the universities or hospitals.
Scientific platforms. The Broad's Scientific platforms are made up of professional scientists with the expertise and organization to carry out major projects that cannot be done within a single research laboratory.
Other Ventures. The Broad runs other programs that fall outside the listed scientific projects.
Scientific programs. The Broad's Scientific programs bring together research groups with a shared commitment to important biomedical challenges.
