Contigs and supercontigs have been anchored to the genetic map by locating the position of genetic markers within the current assembly.

The markers from the Genetic Map were screened against a BAC library via RH techniques. The BAC library was end-sequenced by the FGL, and many of these marker-containing BACs have been located within the assembly using the sequence data. (see Download Markers for data details).
