What's New?
2/17/2006 Release of Gene set version 3.0
For a description of this gene set, see gene finding report.
This release of gene set includes:
- A predicted protein gene set (7,302 genes).
- BLAST databases for the entire assembly, as well as individal gene and protein predictions
- Precomputed results of BlastX and HMMer Analyses
- Alternative proteins predicted by various gene callers (Genewise, Glean, Twinscan, and Callgenes_17)
- tRNA predictions
- Search and visualizations for all the features
- Search and download a particular region of the genome assembly
- Downloads of the consensus sequence and additional files for the genome assembly and gene predictions
June 13, 2003 Initial release of 11X sequence assembly
The initial release of our 11X sequence assembly of the Cryptococcus neoformans serotypeA genome from strain H99. The sequence traces from the Broad Institute sequencing can be downloaded from the NCBI trace repository. This genome project has been deposited at DDBJ/EMBL/GenBank under the project accession AACO00000000. This release is the first version, AACO01000000.
The initial release allowed:
- BLAST searches against the genome
- Downloads of the consensus sequence of the assembly
- Search and download a particular region of the genome
- View the alignment of our assembly to the finger print map
- Download reads from large insert clones (BACs and Fosmids) in the assembly
