7/6/2007 Release of Sclerotinia Optical Map
An optical map of the '1980' strain of Sclerotinia sclerotiorum was produced by OpGen. This map contains 16 optical contigs which appear to correspond to chromosomes. The assembly was anchored to the map by common restriction sites. More than 99% of the map is covered by 34 of the 36 Sclerotinia supercontigs.
7/14/2006 EST Files mapped to S. scleoritiorum assembly
We have mapped two EST sets from Infected Brassica napus (Canola) and Infection Cushion to the Sclerotinia assembly. The resulting alignments can be viewed using the Feature Map or Argo viewer, and can be searched using Find Features. The libraries were provided by Dave Edwards, Adrienne Sexton, and Barbara Howlett and can be obtained from the downloads site.
10/01/2005 Release of the results of automated annotation
A full summary can be found here. This release presents:
- A predicted protein gene set (14,522 genes)
- Protein BLAST databases
- Precomputed results of BlastX and HMMer Analyses
- Alternative proteins predicted by various gene callers (Genewise, FgeneSH,FgeneSH+, GeneID)
- tRNA predictions
- Search and visualizations for all the features
4/25/2005 Initial release of 8X sequence assembly
The initial release of our 8X sequence assembly of the Sclerotinia sclerotiorum assembly. The sequence traces from the Broad Institute sequencing can be downloaded from the NCBI trace repository. This Whole Genome Shotgun project has been deposited at DDBJ/EMBL/GenBank under the project accession AAGT00000000. The version described in this release is the first version, AAGT01000000.
Important information about this release can be found here.
This initial release allows:
- BLAST searches against our 8X genome assembly
- Downloads of the consensus sequence and additional files for the genome assembly
- Search and download a particular region of the genome assembly
There will be a second upcoming release containing the annotation of predicted genes and other genomic features.
