Paul de Bakker
I am an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Genetics at the Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School.
My research focuses on the characterization of DNA sequence variation in human populations and the development of analytical methods to study the role of such variation in common diseases. My work concentrates on HIV/AIDS, autoimmune disease (multiple sclerosis), and cardiovascular (electrocardiographic QT interval) and cerebrovascular disease (stroke and white matter disease).
